Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley opens with a mild gooseberry bouquet with a hint of grapefruit with hints of tangerine and lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a pleasant mineral infused mild grapefruit with hints of tangerine, pineapple and dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger for quite some time. This wine would pair swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc jumps out of the glass—pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit and lychee are all very prominent on the nose. The palate offers more lush fruit and bright acidity with notes of creamy lemon tart, guava and apricot with a fresh, clean finish.
