Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel opens with a cherry-cola and blueberry bouquet with a hint of musty oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is an extracted red plum with notes of red currant and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while. The panel suggested that this wine would pair well with beef briole or short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This is a remarkable example of an elegant Zinfandel with good acid and a full body. Layers of rich blackberry, blueberry and brambleberry and well integrated oak notes unfold with hints of white and green peppercorn, baking spices and brown sugar. This is Zinfandel at its most refined.
