Wine Review: This slightly opaque red colored Pinot was quite popular with the tasters that tried it. It opens with a very fragrant red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, it is medium bodied, balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is a fruit forward plum and mild raspberry with a hint of mild spice and Dr. Pepper mixed in. The finish is dry with practically no tannins at all. There is a touch of very light oak lingering in the aftertaste. We agreed that we would pair this wine with grilled salmon or seasoned pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fragrant with ripe raspberry and holiday spice, this ruby-hued Pinot Noir is bursting with Russian River Valley character. Its firmly structured, silky palate unfolds in a tightly-knit weave of Bing cherry and blackberry with hints of Darjeeling tea and cardamom. Subtle earthiness adds depth and is balanced by bright acidity that punctuates a lengthy finish.
