Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple Pinot opens with a fragrant blackberry and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is black raspberry with notes of blueberry and plum with hints of old oak and black pepper towards the finish. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins linger slightly. This wine is food friendly and would pair nicely with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is both extremely rich and super supple, with fine-grained, mouthfilling tannins, balanced oak and an intriguing dusty quality. The aromas are alluring and sophisticated, offering layers of raspberry, cranberry, blueberry, sassafras, milk chocolate, cinnamon, clove and cassis. A classic expression of Hyde vineyard—powerful, elegant and intricate.
