Wine Review: This pale yellow Sancerre was well received by the panel. It opens with an apricot bouquet with a hint of gooseberry and green grass. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, and citrusy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused grapefruit with a hint of apricot. The finish is dry and remains fruity. The panel recommended serving this with Savoury Lane's five fruit stuffed chicken or a grilled chicken Caesar salad. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Clear with golden green reflections. Complex and intense nose with prevailing aromas of acacia-blossoms with a Muscat-like note of passion-fruit. Full and fat on the palate. Very well balanced. Aromas of litchi and a touch of honey. Serve with an aperitif or with smoked fish within 3 to 4 years of bottling.
