Wine Review: This very very dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Dry Creek is a fruit bomb. It opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet with a hint of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and juicy. The flavor profile is a boysenberry jam with notes of minerality and gentle vanilla oak. I also detected hints of stewed plums and cherry-cola. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Zin would pair nicely with barbecue steak tips. - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright purple color with aromas of sweet cherry and red fruit with a dash of black pepper. On the palate, flavors are of deep, very dense fruit driven by cherry, fresh plum and blueberry. Nice texture with a great balance of acidity that lifts and brightens the flavors.
