Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored wine opens with a mild blackberry bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak eucalyptus, and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and soft. The flavor profile is a gentle black currant and plum with a touch of oak, spice, and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this Syrah with grilled lamb chops or cassoulet. Enjoy - KWGTP
