Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Merlot opens with a fragrant black cherry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of pepper and pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and smooth, The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and black cherry blend with nicely integrated old vanilla oak. We also detected a touch of minerality throughout and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger nicely. The panel thought this wine would pair well with veal scaloppini. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A bright, balanced wine with notes of black cherry, spice, and coconut leading to a long, smoky finish. Based on this winemaker’s extensive research, this wine pairs well with just about anything but especially grilled steak and lamb.
