Wine Review: If you are looking for an affordable white wine for the summer, then try this Good Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Station. It is very pale yellow colored and opens with a faint honeydew melon bouquet with a hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is green apple with a touch of citrusy lemon and lime. The finish is dry and rather pleasant. This Sauvignon Blanc is fairly priced and would go well with grilled chicken breast marinated in lemon butter blend. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of bright citrus, ripe pear, melon and fig flavors all add to the richness and complexity in the glass. The round mid-palate along with the refreshing acidity enhances the balanced mouthfeel with a pleasing finish. The 2009 Napa Station Sauvignon Blanc is a deliciously versatile wine - perfect as an aperitif, served with oysters, mussels, sushi, sashimi, lightly grilled seafood and chicken, as well as spicy Asian and Latin dishes.
