Wine Review: This light yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a grapefruit bouquet with a hint of pear and grass. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, viscous, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe grapefruit and lime blend with some mango and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and its fruit lingers briefly. The panel suggested pairing this wine with broiled scallops in an orange sauce or grilled tuna. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Though dry, this Sauvignon Blanc is full and fruity. On the nose, it presents a bouquet of tropical fruit. These aromas are backed up on the palate by flavours of pineapple and green mango, finishing with a bracing flash of lime crispness. This wine is best enjoyed young and is a refreshing aperitif. It also complements a range of light foods, in particular summer salads, seafood, pork kofta and goat cheese dishes.
