Wine Review: This dark ruby value priced colored Zin opens with a black currant bouquet with hints of smoky oak in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is boysenberry with nicely integrated smoky vanilla oak. I also detected some ripe plum and bacon. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This is a very nice everyday Zin and would pair well with a Five Guys bacon and mushroom cheeseburger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: One of the best vintages in recent memory, 2010 was a cool, long growing season combined with a medium crop resulting in very balanced and flavorful wines. Vibrant ruby in color with lots of rich earth and dark berry aromas on the nose. Bright raspberry, cranberry fruit, with some warm spice on the lingering finish.
