Wine Review: This pale straw colored sparkler with pink hues from Merriam is very good. It opens with a doughy apple bouquet. It has lots of bubbles, so be cautious when opening it. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and effervescent. The flavor profile is lemon-lime with notes of bread dough and hints of minerality. The finish is semi-dry and refreshing. I would pair this with prosciutto wrapped melon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale salmon in color, Brut style sparkling. Hints of light strawberry and melon on the nose. Inviting flavors of green apple, tangerine and cantaloupe. Bright, clean, crisp finish that makes you want another sip right away!
