Wine Review: This low production Pinot is worth seeking out if you like smooth and silky Pinots. It is dark ruby colored and opens with musty oak, cinnamon, and cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and rather smooth. The flavor profile is a pleasant black cherry with hints cinnamon and gentle red raspberry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and gentle acidity fade away nicely. If this fine effort is a sign of things to come, I can't wait for the next vintage. I would pair this Pinot with thyme seasoned pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: In the glass, bright light purple hues, with intense fruit flavors of blackberry cobbler, dark bing cherry and fig. This is a medium bodied wine with bright acidity, soft dusty tannins and flavors of sweet black cherries, plum, and a hint of strawberry. Unfiltered and unfined. Enjoy !
