Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine was one of our favorite Spanish wines that we tried this month. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and ultra smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious blueberry with notes of gentle old oak. The finish is rather dry and its fine tannins sail on and on for quite some time. This offering has a very elegant feel for a Toro based wine. In the short run it will pair very well with a big and juicy NY Strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: In the cup, cherry red with shades of violet. The nose shows elegant and intense red fruit aromas with a background of spices and French oak. On the palate, it is fleshy, fresh, and fruity, with young tannins. Elegant and long in the aftertaste. Harmony of fruit and hardwood.
