Wine Review: This very pale white gold colored Fiano from Italy opens with an Anjou pear and wet stone bouquet with hints of Honeydew melon and ginger. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, soft, smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is a light lime and crushed stone blend with notes of white pepper, saline and mild honeydew melon. I also detected some hints of juicy mild plum. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Fiano is very food friendly and versatile. It would complement many dishes. I would pair it with Legal Sea Foods New England baked haddock prepared Anna’s way, with buttered crumbs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Straw yellow. Aromas that include aromatic herbs with hints of pear, pineapple, acacia, hazelnuts, and citrus fruits, with some hawthorn and floral notes. It is a wine with good acidity but at the same time great softness on the palate, with white peach and grapefruit flavors leading to dried fruits. Pair with seafood salad, fish, and shellfish-based dishes.
