Wine Review: This strawberry colored Rose opens with a fragrant watermelon and Maraschino cherry bouquet with a hint of rose blossom. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a prominent mineral infused Maraschino cherry with hints of white pepper, wild strawberry and blood orange. It finishes dry and refreshing. While not over complex, this is a nice summer quaffer. I would enjoy it at the beach with some bacon cheddar cheese spread and stone wheat thins. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine blossoms with a complex and fruit-driven bouquet featuring high tone tropical and citrus notes such as blood orange, kiwi, passion fruit and coconut, coupled with more delicate aromas of watermelon and orange creme. In a constant effort to over-deliver, our Rose is dominated by a round front and mid-palate, that is fruit-driven, but dry. It has well-balanced, refreshing acidity around the edges and a clean refined finish. Pairs well with oysters on half shell with Rose' mignonette or salmon or tuna sashimi.
