Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Macari is very good. It opens with a fresh lime and Honeydew melon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and fresh. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused lime with notes of Anjou pear along with a touch of faint pineapple The finish is off-dry and very refreshing. I would pair this tasty Sauvignon Blanc with grilled sea scallops and Stuart's sauteed Brussel sprouts. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Melon, stone fruits, lemon-lime, peach, pear, medium bodied with a lingering finish. Bright acidity on the finish makes this a truly refreshing wine.
