Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Grigio opens with a very fragrant mineral and wet stone bouquet with notes of pear in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly crispy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild green apple with a hint of Anjou pear. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This versatile Pinot Grigio would pair well with a ham dinner or steamed mussels with a garlic wine broth. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Pinot Grigio is a pale golden color. The nose is scented with grapefruit and pear, and on the palate citrus come to the forefront. Mango and orange zest are accented by notes of guava and a pronounced minerality. The wonderful acidity and full-bodied texture carry through to a delicious lemony finish with hints of apricot.
