Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay from South Africa opens with a light lemon bouquet with hints of wet stone and pear. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is an overtly oak influenced lemon with notes of minerality and tobacco. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this reasonably priced Chard with brie or crab cakes. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Pineapple, melon and orange blossom aromas lead to flavors of white peach with a caramel, nutty undertone that lingers on the textured, decadent finish. The natural fermentation provides a vibrant, linear acidity and substantial core with just enough layered sweetness, resulting in a round, balanced palate.
