Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane opens with a wet stone and gentle black raspberry bouquet with hints of saddle leather and violet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and pomegranate tea blend with notes of stony minerality and oak. We also detected some hints of cherry-cola. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins are nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with Grandma's lasagna. Enjoy – KWGTP
