Wine Review: The pale ruby colored Grenache opens with a very fragrant wild strawberries in cream bouquet with hints of sweet red cherry, lavender and talc. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, soft, round and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a strawberry and mild mineral blend with notes of red currant. We also detected some hints of sarsaparilla soda and vanilla mixed. The finish is dry with fine grained tannins. It goes down easy. This is a terrific red wine to quaff. Serve slight chilled with some dried meats (like on the label) and your favorite hard cheeses. Enjoy – KWGTP
