Wine Review: This deep purple colored Zinfandel opens blackberry and lingonberry bouquet with hints of graphite and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, lush and juicy. The flavor profile is a flinty mineral influenced red plum with notes of blackberry and black licorice along with a hint of strawberry rhubarb. The finish is dry and its flavors, minerality and fine tannins linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Zin with a grilled flat iron steak or smoked pork chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
