Wine Review: This white blend opens with a petroleum and mild ripe pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is pronounced green pepper with notes of green apple and hints of white pepper and lime. The finish is dry and rather pleasant. Fans of Chilean styled Sauvignon Blanc would like this wine. I would pair it with chicken and shrimp paella. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: From the near perfect growing conditions of 2009, the vibrant pale straw wine displays intense passionfruit, orange and lime zest together with gosseberry and dusted jube notes. The palate is soft with intriguing layers of textured lemon, lime and pink lady apples ending in a long finish, well blanced by the lingering acid.
