Wine Review: This dark coral colored wine from Lazy Creek is made from 100% Pinot Noir. It opens with a fresh strawberry and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, gentle and tingly. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused watermelon with hints of white pepper, nectarine and strawberry. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Rose would pair well with a cold Gazpacho. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Beautiful pale pink in color, our 2015 Lazy Creek Vineyards Rose of Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley is a light, delicious Rose. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, this wine has fresh, delicate aromas and flavors of rose petal, pink grapefruit, fresh strawberries and orange creamsicle with creamy peach and berry on the mid-palate balanced by lemon zest on the lively, crisp finish. Served chilled, with fresh seafood, especially salmon, crab or shrimp and game meats such as quail and Cornish hens.
