Wine Review: This white gold colored dry Riesling opens with a wet stone and mild pineapple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and has a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Bartlett pear with a slight steely influence. The finish is dry, slightly tingly, and subtle. This wine would pair well with grilled swordfish with a lemon drizzle. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our sustainably-farmed 2008 Lazy Creek Vineyards Riesling from Anderson Valley has enticing and fragrant fresh fruit aromas of pear and white nectarine complemented by floral notes and hints of spice and minerality. Completely dry, refreshing mineral notes on the palate weave through and round out the wine's clean, lingering finish.
