Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Montepulciano opens with an attractive ripe black cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and cedar plank blend with notes of blueberry and oregano. I also detected hints of nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins linger for a while. This Montepulciano is food friendly and would very pair well with veal parmigiana. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pair with lamb chops or pasta with ragù sauce.
