Wine Review: In the past, I have liked Pinot made from this vineyard. Mark this one down as another one I really like a lot! This offering is ruby colored and opens with a plum and mild red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and savory. The flavor profile is a delicious red currant and plum blend with notes of beautifully integrated old oak. I also detected a dash of black pepper and blueberry. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors linger nicely. This fruit bomb of a Pinot would pair nicely with a thyme seasoned pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of cherry, ripe raspberry and rose petals commingle with red earth and forest floor. A juicy fruit entry leads to granite minerality, charcuterie flavors and a hint of brown spices and cocoa powder on the palate. Late palate tannins provide texture and segue to a long finish with mouthwatering acidity.
