Wine Review: This Excellent Merlot was one of the best wines that I tried on a recent trip to California. It is a brilliant dark ruby color. It opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extremely well balanced, and silky. The flavor profile is an absolutely delicious black cherry with notes of spice and black pepper. This is top notch Merlot! The finish is quite dry and its well managed noticeable mountain tannins are rather lengthy. This is a show off Merlot. Invite some close friends over and pair this gem with filet mignon. You will remember the evening fondly for quite some time. Cheers - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep purple color with a note of blackberry jam and black currants. Multi-textured with blueberry, cassis and spice box flavors with a touch of minerality. Round, soft and sensuous with vanilla flavors throughout.

Organic status: not organic
