Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay from Kendall Jackson is always very good and extremely popular. The 2014 vintage opens with a light pear and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty oak influenced ripe pear with notes of pineapple and hints of apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. I would pair this Chard with pasta carbonarra. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Beautifully integrated tropical flavors such as pineapple, mango and papaya, with citrus notes that explode in your mouth. These flavors delicately intertwine with aromas of vanilla and honey to create depth and balance throughout. A hint of toasted oak and butter rounds out the long, lingering finish. - Randy Ullom, Winemaster
