Wine Review: This crowd pleasing and refreshing Syrah based Rose from Paso Robles, CA is a sparkling medium salmon color. There's an inviting bouquet of red delicious apple, red cherry, gardenia, dry grass, and iced lemon cookies. On the palate it's medium bodied, balanced and very smooth, with crisp medium acidity. There are flavors of sweet red cherry, green apple and stony minerality, with hints of tangy peach and chamomile tea. The finish is dry and lingers for quite a while. Serve lightly chilled with pesto shrimp pasta. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Bright and clear with a pale salmon color with rose gold inflections.
Aroma: Aromatic with red cherry, cranberry, peach, and fresh floral notes.
Palate: Medium-bodied with bountiful tart strawberry, raspberry, nectarine, and honeydew melon on entry. White hydrangea flower, fresh chamomile, and bergamot peel on the complex midpalate. The moderately long finish is bolstered by sustained fruit notes and a clean mineral component of wet stone.
It’s a perfect match for a wide variety of pairings or just on its own. Try year-round with a fresh green salad. This is a wine that is meant to be enjoyed at the table, poolside, beachside, outside, but especially with someone by your side!
