Wine Review: This straw colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with an attractive lemon bouquet with a hint of cantaloupe and honey. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is apple with hints of Nilla wafer and a touch of lemon and honey. The finish is dry and brief. The panel suggested pairing this wine with mushroom and shrimp risotto or bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2012 Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of honeysuckle, Meyer lemon zest and notes of pear and jasmine, with underlying minerality that follows through perfectly to the palate. The wine is focused with flavors of lemon meringue, key lime and a hint of green pineapple leading to a balanced finish with beautiful acidity and a creamy texture.
