Wine Review: This straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Joe Carr opens with a light grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and round with a soft mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a gentle grapefruit with a hint of Anjou pear. The finish is dry and crisp. This Sauvignon Blanc is very approachable and would pair well with Quiche Lorraine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2009 Sauvignon Blanc displays delicious honeydew melon aromas, followed by bright lemon zest and a hint of thyme. A ripe mouth-feel is enhanced with more melon and refreshing citrus notes. The wine is wonderfully centered and well-balanced by crisp acidity.
