Wine Review: This slightly opaque dark ruby colored wine opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with a hint of menthol, tobacco, and smoke. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a black raspberry, spice, and pepper blend. The finish is dry and its managed tannins are slightly prolonged. The panel suggested that this Cab would pair well with Colorado lamb chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Layered and evolving, the concentrated boysenberry and blackberry fruit aromas combine with nuances of cocoa, cinnamon and sandalwood. The palate is bold, complex and rich; with wild berry compote and black cherry dancing with touches of vanilla cream and clove. Silky tannins give structure and balance, affording a long and luxurious finish. – Winemakers Sean Thompson and Hugh Davies
