Wine Review: This golden colored Ice Wine finished in second place in our recent blind tasting of dessert wines. It opens with an attractive floral and clove like bouquet. A couple of panelists also detected hints of peach and grapefruit as well. On the palate, this ice wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and displays a silky syrup like mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a very ripe apricot and tangerine blend which one panelist described as sweet, but not too sweet. It’s harmonious. The finish is nicely refreshing with the orange like flavors lingering for quite some time. The panel felt this wine would pair nicely with green apples and cheese or simply just as the dessert. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Great hints of lemon and lime offer the crisp and tart flavours that pair well with fresh and fruit based desserts, rich cheeses and with many layers that allow this refreshing Icewine to stand on its own. Serve chilled with dessert or after a fine meal.
