Wine Review: This Icewine is a brilliant goldenrod color. It opens with a wonderfully fragrant apricot bouquet with a hint of honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a delicious apricot jam with notes of quince and ripe pineapple mixed in. The finish is wonderfully sweet and lingers for quite sometime. This is excellent and very serious dessert wine. Sip it with someone special after a fine dinner at your favorite restaurant. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The outstanding quality of the 2007 Harvest provided much excitement leading into the winter and Icewine Harvest. Early January 2008 marked the beginning of the harvest and all was concluded by the end of January 2008. This relatively early harvest delivered top quality fruit with ideal sugar levels providing great concentration of flavours and strong acidity for optimum structure and balance. The 2007 Icewine Vintage will stand out as one of the best for overall quality.
