Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa is a good value offering. It opens with a light lemon-lime and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with hints of white pepper and a touch of lime. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. I would pair this wine with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Enticing citrus and tropical fruit aromas lead to fresh, zesty flavors of pineapple, lemon-lime, mango and green fig, backed by a racy acidity. Herbal undertones shine through on the mineral-tinged finish.
