Wine Review: This light yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Quintessa is elegant and very food friendly. It opens with a very fragrant wet stone and apricot bouquet with a hint of anise and grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and viscous. The flavor profile is Anjou pear and green apple blend with a touch of minerality, lime, and white pepper. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. This really nice Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with grilled halibut stuffed with imperial crab meat. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Complex citrus flower, herb and stone fruit aromas leap from the glass. The first sip unveils more stone fruit with tangy pomelo flavors with hints of Meyer lemon and papaya balancing the wine's body and complexity. A vibrant, lingering finish persists with citrus and mineral notes
