Wine Review: This golden yellow colored sparkler is reminiscent of a Kabinett level Riesling. It opens with a white guava, lychee, ripe peach, and mild petrol bouquet. This medium bodied sparkler starts off sweeter than expected, but considering its style, it is mind boggling why this wine isn’t on more shelves. This sparkler’s rich creamy texture, alongside the subtle, yet present acidity, and mild sweetness makes this both a fantastic party sparkler. For the more serious consumer think of this as a bubbly Kabinett Riesling. Enjoy – Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Henkell Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine presents a pale straw colour and a fine, persistent perlage. Its distinct Golden Delicious apple and Williams pear nose gives way to a crisp, rich, creamy palate which then reveals a balanced elegance and smooth velvety finish. An ideal accompaniment to sophisticated dishes and the ideal companion for more informal social drinking.
