Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Zinfandel from Hartford opens with an inviting warm blueberry pie bouquet with hints of lavender and raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and luscious. The flavor profile is red raspberry with notes of spice. We also detected hints of strawberry, dusty minerality and red plum. The finish is soft, dry and it is slightly prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this Zin with a tangy pulled pork sandwich or a lamb burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
