Wine Review: This translucent and ruby red colored Pinot opens with a black raspberry and plum bouquet with a hint of old leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very smooth, delicate, and easy going. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry with nicely integrated vanilla oak and hints of red currant and cranberry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are friendly and subtle. The panel suggested pairing this pleasant Pinot with baked brie, pork tenderloin or a turkey dinner. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine offers a lovely plethora of aromas, including black cherry, raspberry, lavender, and chocolate, while the palate follows through with cherry, milk chocolate, pomegranate, luscious texture, and a long mocha coffee finish. The velvety texture and deep fruit flavors of this RSM Pinot Noir make it a perfect accompaniment for roasted meats. A meal featuring roasted duck legs with garlic-herb rub will showcase this wine beautifully.
