Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a very fragrant tropical fruit like bouquet. Banana, papaya, pineapple and lime scents came thru. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crisp and lively. The flavor profile is a pineapple and green apple blend with notes of tart yellow grapefruit and peach pit. I also picked up a hint of lime as well. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would pair well with NYAJ’s coconut shrimp with mango dipping sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine has lush aromatics of pineapple, pear, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The flavors include kiwi fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, lime and grapefruit. The lush fruit is balanced by a tingly acidity. Try the Sauvignon Blanc as an aperitif or with hearty salads, rich seafood or grilled chicken.
