Wine Review: This pretty gold colored Pinot Gris is special. It opens with a fragrant ripe apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, nicely balanced, and rich. The flavor profile is a tasty Bosc pear with notes of mineral. There were also hints of apple and almond with a kiss of toffee and caramel. It was very complex. The finish is dry and pleasant. I would pair this wine with fresh made chicken ravioli with a wild mushroom cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This single-vineyard Pinot Gris is golden yellow, with a charming and complex nose that features dried white fruits. The mouth is very generous and full-bodied, with a great mouth-filling texture. Its pleasant, fruit-forward palate leads to an enjoyable finish. A versatile wine, the Pinot Gris "Schofweg" can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a wide range of appetizers, especially foie gras. It also works well with game, semi-soft cheeses and fruity deserts.
