Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a fragrant grapefruit and gun flint like bouquet. On the palate this wine is light bodied, tangy and crisp. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit with notes of green apple. I also detected hints of pineapple and quinine. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would be very nice on a hot summer day served with swordfish skewers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 100% Sauvignon Blanc was made from grapes grown naturally, without artificial pesticides or herbicides, at our cool American Canyon and Carneros vineyards. The cool growing season resulted in refreshing acidity with flavors of fresh herbs, lemon zest and mineral notes that are perfect with a wide range of food, including green salad topped by Chevre cheese, fresh seafood and spicy Mexican or Asian cuisine.
