Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot was described by panel as an interesting wine. It opens with a blueberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, earth and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is strawberry rhubarb with notes of blackberry, cinnamon, and cedar. We also detected a hint of bacon. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins subtly fade away. The panel suggested pairing this Merlot with bacon burgers or Kansas City-Style Burnt Ends. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This is a multifaceted Merlot: forest strawberries, spiced plums and anise with a velvety texture that make your taste buds ask for more! The wine’s firm tannins and vibrant acidity create the perfect partner with beef tenderloin, rack of lamb or roasted pork.
