Wine Review: This light yellow colored white blend opens with a mild butterscotch and Bosc pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and round. The flavor profile is a tasty butterscotch candy and Bartlett pear blend with notes of oak and hints of papaya and clove. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. This wine is food friendly and would pair perfectly with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our goal was to produce a wine similar to Bordeaux Blanc. Rousanne was added to oak-fermented Sauvignon Blanc, producing a complex, serious food wine. Flavors of tropical & stone fruits are balanced with the refreshing acidity and integrated oak notes. Just as on the nose, the subtle toasty oak notes give the wine multiple dimensions. Enjoy now or cellar for 3-5 years.
