Wine Review: This wine received a "Standing Ovation" from the tasters that tried it. It was the best wine we tried on the night. It is light yellow colored and opens with a musty oak and green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty Anjou pear with notes of integrated oak and a touch of tangerine. The finish is dry and its very mild oak influence lingers on the tongue after the wine is gone. This Chard is a very refined style. I would pair it with a cedar plank cooked rainbow trout. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a harmonious marriage of flavors with the weight of honey and brioche, minerality and fresh stone fruit flavors. Thanks to a long growing season, this wine is a perfect example of the style that we are trying to achieve with this label.
