Wine Review: This golden colored Late Harvest wine opens with an apricot and apple cider like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, viscous, and rather smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty peach tea and fig blend. I also detected hints of honey, apricot, raisin, and sprinkled brown sugar that add to its intrigue and complexity. The finish is pleasantly sweet and lingers nicely. This wine is a dessert all by itself. If you want to pair it with something, I would suggest a toasted baguette chip with Great Hill Blue cheese to contrast the sweetness. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich golden yellow in color, the aroma is clover honey and orange marmalade predominantly, with dried apricot, other dried fruits and a hint of green tea. The flavor is soft, elegant, sweet but not cloying, with dried fruit, apricot, honey and a hint of mandarin orange. This is a very unique, elegant desert wine.
