Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet from opens with a fragrant red cherry and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe black plum with integrated notes of cassis and old oak. There was also a hint of black pepper. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and mild oak tannins are slightly prolonged. This wine will appeal to readers who like wines from burgundy. It was a nice complement to my beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense nose, with black fruits with notes in background of thyme and scrubland. Good volume in the mouth with nice tannic concentration. Wonderfully long aromatic finish. Pair with rack of lamb, pork filet, filet of beef with rosemary, game and cheeses.
