Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Napa, reminds me of offerings typically from New Zealand. It opens with a very fragrant grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic, lively, and tangy. The flavor profile is a ripe and tart yellow grapefruit with notes of lemon and mild minerality. The finish is dry and it lingers slightly. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Pale straw Aromas: Bright and inviting, with intense lime, grapefruit, and pear fruit aromas, enticing mineral notes, and hints of star jasmine and vanilla. Perfumed and appealing. Flavors: Clean, crisp, and refreshing, with complex layers of Meyer lemon, lime zest, and honeydew. Lively on the palate, the bright fruit is rounded by a generous body and mouthfeel. Bright citrus and mineral notes linger on the long, smooth finish.
