Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Lemberger from Fox Run opens with a mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak influenced plum with notes of black tea. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins have nice length. This is a very good value wine to have with a juicy mushroom burger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of fresh blackberries, raspberry jam, and a suggestion of black pepper are followed by rich plum and red cherry flavors that evolve to sweet vanilla. Moderate tannins mark this as an excellent food wine. It is unrivaled as an accompaniment to tenderloin of beef.
